Here are some fabulous moments that didn’t make it to your TV!

While Taylor achieved her triumph, surpassing even the amazing Beyoncé in three categories, there was disappointment for artists such as Miley Cyrus, who did not win any awards despite six nominations, then Sam Smith and Kim Petras, the whose hit “Unholy” was also overshadowed by Swift.

Taylor Swift smashes the MTV Video Music Awards 2023 ‘VMAS’ with 9 statuettes and writes her place in history. Taylor Swift won in the category of Album of the Year (Midnights), Video of the Year (Anti-Hero), Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Anti-Hero), Best Pop (Anti-Hero), Best Direction (Anti-Hero), Best Cinematography (Anti-Hero), Best Visual Effects (Anti-Hero), and Show of the Summer.

When it comes to award shows, Taylor Swift is the wildest of vibes and this year’s VMAs was no exception.

Diddy is the 2023 VMAs Global Icon!

Shakira didn’t just graced the night and mesmerized everyone at the 2023 VMAs with her fabulous and beautiful outfit by Versace, made with her favorite colors, she also triumphed graciously with two awards.

It was also a special night for Italy with Måneskin confirming and winning Best Rock for the second year for their single The Loneliest, defeating bands of the caliber of Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

It was all ‘wows and roars’ with Rema and Selena Gomez, winning the MTV VMA for Best Afrobeats Song with ‘Calm Down’.

The song ‘Calm Down’ is also the first Afrobeats song to hit a billion streams on Spotify.

“This man has changed my life forever. Rema, thank you for choosing me to be apart of one of the biggest songs in the world. Love you forever.” – Selena Gomez
